Reggae Golden Jubilee: Origins of Jamaican Music (50th Anniversary)

Na płytach znajdzie się muzyka od ska, poprzez reggae, aż po dancehall. Wyboru utworów dokonał Edward Seaga, były premier Jamajki. Przed dostaniem się do Parlamentu Seaga był producentem muzycznym, założył także wydawnictwo West India Records Limited (WIRL), które po wyborze do Parlamentu sprzedał Byronowi Lee (nazwa została zmieniona na Dynamic Sounds).

Do płyt dołączono 64-stronicową książeczkę, w której opisano utwór po utworze. Dołączono także zdjęcia i masę innych materiałów z pierwszych 50 lat niepodległej Jamajki. Znajdziemy w niej również dwa teksty o rozwoju reggae – jeden, z perspektywy brytyjskiej, napisany przez Johna Masouriego, a drugi, z perspektywy amerykańskiej, autorstwa Dermota Husseya. Przedmowę napisał prezes VP Records Christopher Chin.
