Specialized 2 – Beat Teenage Cancer

Tak narodził się pomysł kompilacji pt. „Specialized – A Modern Take On Specials Classics…”, na której mniej i bardziej znani młodzi artyści zagrali utwory jednego z najważniejszych zespołów w historii 2-tone’u, The Specials. Kompilacja ta została wydana w zeszłym roku nakładem Specials2 Records, z jej sprzedaży (oraz dzięki serii koncertów) udało się zebrać ponad 25000 funtów.

Część druga była więc kwestią czasu. Od pewnego czasu na stronie projektu można zamawiać pre-ordery „Specialized 2 – Beat Teenage Cancer”, czyli kompilacji poświęconej tym razem kolejnej legendzie 2-tone’u, zespołowi The Beat. Na 2 płytach znalazły się 44 utwory, m.in. King Hammonda, The Simmertones, Bombskare, Rhody Dakar, The Amphetameanies, The Talks oraz czeskiego The Chancers.
